Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
Jersey No. 98 is as high as you can go with the Montreal Canadiens, at least in double digits, ever since Wayne Gretzky’s famous number was retired throughout the NHL. Right wing Mike Glumac wore this Habs #98 gamer with the team’s Centennial patch sewn on the right shoulder during the 2009-10 preseason. A Canadiens 2009-10 game-worn jersey patch sewn inside the rear tail has the registry number that appears on the team LOA signed by equipment manager Pierre Gervais that accompanies this pre-season game-worn jersey which indicates this jersey is from the team’s “Home Set 1”, as per the “1” handwritten in black marker in the thread outline of the Reebok logo patch sewn on the back. A hologram sticker affixed to the bottom of the “8” sewn on the back of this preseason gamer matches the one on the LOA. Light game wear includes faint marks on the right sleeve and a few small fabric pulls.
