Fantastic 2008-09 Montreal Canadiens retro white jersey was worn by forward Gregory Stewart during the Habs’ March 14, 2009 game against New Jersey, a 3-1 loss to the Devils at the Bell Centre. The Canadiens’ Centennial patch is sewn on the right shoulder of this game-worn jersey done up in the style of the team’s white jerseys from the 1945-46 season. The Canadiens’ 100 Seasons logo is featured on the 2008-09 game-worn jersey patch sewn inside the rear tail. It displays a registry number that appears on the team LOA signed by equipment manager Pierre Gervais that accompanies this 2008-09 game-worn retro jersey which indicates this jersey is from the team’s “1945-46 Set 2”, as per the “2” handwritten in black marker in the thread outline of the Reebok logo patch sewn on the back. A hologram sticker affixed to the bottom of the “0” sewn on the back of this #70 retro jersey with no discernible game wear matches the one on the LOA.
