Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

The Montreal Canadiens had a lot to celebrate during the 2008-09 season as evidenced by the patches on the shoulders of Brock Trotter’s pre-season game-worn jersey. The Habs celebrated their 100th campaign with the “100 Seasons” patch sewn on the right shoulder. They also hosted the 2009 All-Star Game, with that patch sewn on the left shoulder of Trotter’s size 56 game-worn jersey. A Canadiens game-worn jersey patch sewn inside the rear tail has the registry number that appears on the team LOA signed by equipment manager Pierre Gervais that accompanies this 2008-09 pre-season game-worn jersey which indicates this jersey is from the team’s “Home Set 1”, as per the “1” handwritten in black marker in the thread outline of the Reebok logo patch sewn on the back. A hologram sticker affixed to the bottom of the “9” sewn on the back of this #59 preseason gamer with no discernible wear matches the one on the LOA.
