The Canadiens had high hopes for Russian forward Andrei Bashkirov, who played in 10 games as a rookie in 1998-99. This is the white No. 35 Canadiens Starter home gamer worn by Bashkirov that season. The jersey exhibits plenty of wear despite its obviously limited use, including red paint transfer beside the blue Starter and black and orange NHL crest embroidered onto the right tail. The right elbow and shoulder exhibit some nice blue paint transfer and the front has a number of solid stick marks. A size 58-R tag is sewn inside the left tail and the jersey’s fight strap is intact. A Starter tag remains sewn into the neck. This original Habs jersey comes along with a letter of authenticity from the Montreal Canadiens, signed by Rejean Houle.
