Rookie Andrew Ladd signed his 2005-06 Carolina Hurricanes game-worn jersey from the team’s first set of its Stanley Cup season. Andrew signed in black marker on the “1” on the back of this gamer with his No. 16 written in black marker on the size 56 flag tag in the back of the neck. Hurricanes Custom Crafted 1st Set 2005-06 team stamp is screened inside the tail. Best game wear shows on the left sleeve which has black marks, blue paint transfer, board burns and an unrepaired burn hole. There is a bit of blue and red paint transfer below the secondary logo crest sewn on the left shoulder, black marks on the Hurricanes crest sewn on the front and on the left rear tail, and a few light marks on the right breast and right sleeve.
Ladd made his NHL debut against Tampa Bay on November 20, 2005 and he played his first road game for the Hurricanes nine days later in a 4-3 win in Atlanta. He had 11 points in 29 games with Carolina during the regular season and added five more in 17 playoff games as got his name engraved on Lord Stanley’s silver chalice for the first time. He won a second Stanley Cup with Chicago in 2010.
