Veteran forward Craig Berube wore this 2002-03 Calgary Flames black road gamer during his 17th and final NHL season. One of only nine NHL players to surpass 3,000 penalty minutes to date, Berube ranks seventh all-time with 3,149 career PIMs. He got the final 100 penalty minutes in 2002-03 to go along with two goals and four assists in 55 games to finish his career with 61 goals, 98 assists and 159 points in 1,054 regular season games with Philadelphia, Toronto, Calgary, Washington and the New York Islanders. Made in Canada and size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the neck of this game-worn jersey which comes with a MeiGray LOA that states that it is from the Flames’ first season set of black jerseys. The customized fight strap was shortened with a fold sewn over in black thread. The MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2002-2003 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the LOA. Game wear includes a few light marks and board burns on the sleeves and a thread pull on the left front to the right of the upper part of the crest.
