Japanese characters are featured at the top of the Game One 98 Japan 1998 NHL Opening Game patch sewn on the right breast of defenseman Eric Charron’s 1998-99 Calgary Flames game-worn jersey. The Flames opened the season with a pair of games against San Jose in Tokyo. “Calgary Flames Hockey Club Game One Japan 1998 Jersey #1 of 1” team stamp is screened in white inside the rear hem of Charron’s game-worn jersey which has CCM tagging in the neck along with NHL Center Ice, Goalie Style and size 58 flag tags. Good game wear for a single-use jersey shows in black marks and board burns on the sleeves, including an unrepaired burn hole on the back of the right sleeve. Comes with a Flames LOA signed by HOFer Lanny McDonald.
