Rookie defenseman Mattias Timander wore this spongy knit Bruins gamer during the 1996-97 season. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Swede had one goal and eight assists in 41 games in his first season in Boston. Center Ice and Starter tagging are sewn in the back of the neck along with a size 54-R tag that has a “2” written over the four in black marker. Official Boston Bruins 1st Set 1996-97 Season Custom Crafted team patch is screened in black inside the rear hem. Starter logo and NHL shield are embroidered on the right rear tail. There is a solid team repair on the black fabric on the lower left sleeve and a circular sewing fix on the top of the left breast. More good game wear includes black marks on the front and both sleeves, which have board burns, unrepaired burn holes and red paint transfer on the right sleeve.
