Photo-matched Ales Hemsky 2005-06 Oilers game-worn jersey is from the Stanley Cup finals! Ales had two goals and four assists in the seven-game final against Carolina as the Oilers fell just one win short of their first Cup since 1990. The black mark on the lower left sleeve is matched to photos of Hemsky wearing this jersey in the 2006 final against the Hurricanes. The 2006 Stanley Cup Final patch is sewn on the right breast and Elite and size 58 flag tags remain in the back of the neck. More game wear includes red paint transfer on the right rear tail, light marks on the sleeves, a mark through the top of the Oilers crest sewn on the front, and board burns on the upper right front and front of the right shoulder with a couple of unrepaired burn holes. The Oilers’ Stanley Cup Finals 2005-2006 Elite team patch is sewn inside the rear tail along with the square “2005-2006 Season” patch and MeiGray NHL Game-Worn registry patch from the previous unplayed season. Comes with a MeiGray LOA, which states that Hemsky wore this jersey throughout the first two games of the 2006 final on June 5 and 7 in Raleigh, North Carolina, plus an additional LOA.
