Hall of Fame center Doug Gilmour was wearing this photo-matched 1995-96 Maple Leafs game-worn captain's jersey when he became the 44th NHL player to reach the 1,000-point milestone. Killer recorded his 1,000th point in his 935th regular season game on December 23, 1995 with an assist in Toronto's 6-1 win over Edmonton. The black marks between the two blue bands on the right sleeve are matched to a photo of Dougie from his 1,000th-point game, which also shows the two marks on the lower part of the sleeve. Maska and size 52 flag tags sit in the back of the neck and a Maple Leafs 1995-1996 Game Worn Limited Edition 3 of 12 team patch is sewn inside the rear hem. More game wear includes black marks on the right front tail, right rear tail, and left sleeve, which has an unrepaired burn hole, and red paint transfer on the left front. Comes with an LOA on Hespeler letterhead, a DVD of the game with additional video-matches, and a signed photo of Gilmour after he was named the First Star of the game. The LOA states that the jersey was given to Hespeler. There are tiny pinholes on the back of the shoulders and on the sleeves where the jersey was previously mounted for display, which is indicated in the LOA.[red] Addendum; There are light sweat stains, notably on the shoulders around the collar and on the right upper front and middle of the front tail as the jersey was unwashed after the game. We have added photos of the aforementioned tiny pinholes.[/red]
