The late John Kordic punched 'em out pretty good in the minors on the way to establishing himself as one of the NHL's most feared enforcers. This 1986 AHL Sherbrooke Canadiens gamer with a longer nameplate change was worn by John, who racked up 238 PIMs in 68 games on the farm in 1985-86 and another 49 in 10 games with Sherbrooke the following season. Lots of team equipment staff threadwork on the collar seams, particularly in the back. No tagging present on this enforcer's gamer which measures out to a size 52. Comes with an LOA. Lots of damage to the collar, which has some dried bloodstains. Big area of black marks on the left sleeve, which has a pair of team repairs, board burns and unrepaired burn holes. More black marks on the rear tail and right sleeve, which has a couple of sewing fixes, some board burns and unrepaired burn holes. Black marks on the front tail, scuffs on the triple twill CH crest sewn on the front, and a long loose red thread on the right front sleeve seam.
Bill Campbell also wore #24 with Sherbrooke in 1986-87.
