Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

An all-Hall of Fame lineup here is led chronologically by Bobby Hull’s 1965-66 Topps card, slabbed NM 7 by PSA and describing the Golden Jet on the back as “a constant threat to break 50-goal barrier.” A ’69-70 Terry Sawchuk O-Pee-Chee example is a PSA Mint 9 with an (OC) qualifier, while Gordie Howe’s last Topps card as a Red Wing, (’71-72 #70), is also oh so close to perfection, also earning Mint 9 recognition but with a (MC) qualifier due to a barely mis-cut back. The Topps rookie cards of New York Islander legends Bryan Trottier, (’76-77 #115 – SGC-graded NM/MT 8), and Mike Bossy, (’78-79 #115 – PSA NM-MT 8), are swell complements to the all-time greats ensemble.
