A Loblaw’s stamp album from 1974-75 and with all stamps affixed rather neatly in place features wonderful color action shots and leads the complete set parade here. The original owner’s name and last initial are stencilled to the VG+ cover but overall, a swell, relatively clean trip back in time! From further back (1965-66) is a Coca-Cola card album, with curiously, only the 18 Rangers cards placed in their appropriate places, with a Toronto Maple Leafs team set still in its original un-detached, accordian-style state. Wear to the cover card (Johnny Bower) is to mention, along with a minor edge stain to most of the otherwise EX-or-better examples. “Loose” singles thrown-in are of Bathgate, McDonald and Ravlich. Seven crease-free Maple Leafs from the ’70-71 Dad’s Cookies issue include Henderson, Ellis, Baun and Walton, while inserts from 1977-78 complete the lot. There are four shrink-wrapped 22-card Topps insert sets (rounded corners) and one similar inspect-able set averaging EX, while a square-corner Topps set and a similar O-Pee-Chee set from the same year (actually, the OPC set features five cards with rounded corners) are also EX-ish.
