Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
The first of the hockey premiums offered by York in the 1960s were black & white 5" by 7" photos of the Canadiens and Maple Leafs, with labels from York peanut butter and salted nuts required to be mailed-in to obtain the pictures. A complete set of 19 Canadiens here is, for the most part, in beauty crease-free condition, with light corner touches prompting EX and EX+ grades. A small corner crease in Doug Harvey's photo, a light bend in Gilles Tremblay's and a bit of soiling to the Charlie Hodge are the only other flaws we spot. Featuring the likes of Hall-of-Famers Plante, Beliveau, Geoffrion, Richard, Moore and Johnson, this is a clean, bound-to-please set. Go Habs Go!
