Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
Tempting is this encapsulated pre-war treasure, for it is the last card in William Paterson’s 1924-25 issue and a coveted PSA chart-topper. Picturing Nova Scotia-born Stan Jackson in a Toronto St. Pats sweater but listing him as a member of the Boston Bruins, (he was picked up in December of 1924 by Boston during the Bruins’ first season), card #60 has been graded VG-EX 4 and joins four other 4s as the highest graded examples of the Jackson card. PSA numbers evidence the scarcity of the V-145-2 cards, with only ten Jackson cards ever having been submitted to the company. If this one has eluded you up until now, now’s your chance to click, click and score.
