Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
From the most elusive of the three Imperial Tobacco hockey card sets comes this example of card #11 featuring longtime pro Bobby Rowe, pictured in his Renfrew sweater but actually a member of the Victoria Aristocrats in 1912-13. After his days in Renfrew, Rowe played a dozen seasons in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association, eight of them with the Seattle Metropolitans, who he helped to the Stanley Cup title in 1916-17. Slabbed VG-EX 4 by PSA, this Bobby is one of seven 4s at PSA, with just seven examples graded higher by the company, which has thus far examined a total of 34.
