Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

Atop the PSA leader board sits this intriguing example of Jimmy Keiller's 1937-38 World Wide Gum rookie card, the beauty(!) joined by just one other slabbed NM 7 Keiller card. Erroneously labeled "1936" on the holder, the card sheds a little light on Keiller, describing the Quebec Aces' d-man on the back as "Veteran of many years' hockey around Quebec City. Rugged performer, good defensively. He is not a fast skater. Useful when team shorthanded. The Hockey Database informs that Keiller towered 6'3". Although he never made it to the NHL, this Keiller is destined for a Hall of Fame-caliber encapsulated stash.
