Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
All sorts of autographed goodies are offered here, with a thin cardboard stock “folder” produced for the grand opening of the “new” Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993 opening up to reveal the gold ink autographs of now deceased HOFers Boom Boom Geoffrion, Harry Lumley and Sid Abel on the lower portion and those of Ted Lindsay and Norm Ullman up above – nice! Meanwhile, Maurice Richard’s autograph highlights the multi-signed cover of a 1990 Oldtimers game program, also autographed by Eddie Shack, Jean-Guy Talbot, Bill “Cowboy” Flett, Gary Smith, Bob Nevin, Ab McDonald, Al Hamilton, Wilf Paiement and Jimmy Mann. Vladislav Tretiak signed pieces include a color 8” by 10” photo autographed nicely in gold ink and a ’92-93 Black Hawks program from when he was a Chicago goalie consultant. Trading cards picture and were signed by Bernie Geoffrion, Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita, with Roger Crozier personalizing a black and white postcard of himself “To Gerard” before sending it through the mail in 1966 – neat. A big bold blue ballpoint autograph of Jaromir Jagr, penned to a Toronto “Spaghetti Factory” paper flyer/menu offers a superb cut possibility, with a ’92-93 Kings at Capitals program picturing and signed on the cover by Dmitri Khristich completing the varied lot.
