A capacity crowd of 14,544 fans filled Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto for Game Four of the Finals the evening of April 16, 1948; in anticipation of their hometown Leafs winning another Stanley Cup. Their team did not disappoint, as Ray Timgren and Cal Gardner scored late in the 2nd period to lead Toronto to a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings, and with it their second straight sweep of the Final series. More impressively, this was the Leaf's third consecutive Cup win, making them the first team in NHL history to accomplish that feat. The offered program from that historic game is complete and in solid VG/EX condition, with light overall handling wear. Its front cover has been autographed by game stars Timgren and Gardner; along with HOF goalie Turk Broda and tough winger Bill Eziniki.
