They don't make 'em like that anymore. A Wayne Gretzky Edmonton Oilers rookie-era autograph fits that bill so imagine the opportunity to get a Great One signature from that era three times over! Wayne's early ballpoint signature is on full display on the three pieces offered, including a blank white index card with a nice big blue ink signature. The Great One has signed in blue ink below his face on the photo on the detached cover of a Vancouver Canucks program. Gretz has also signed in blue ink across his throat on a full magazine page picture of himself. Three great Wayne Gretzky signatures from the outset of his amazing NHL career! There is a small black dot mark near the bottom left of the index card which does not touch the autograph. The reverse of the signed index card has a small headshot of Wayne taped to it along with handwritten “99 – Wayne Gretzky, C.” and “Edmonton Oilers 79-80”pencil notations on the top and bottom edges.
Gretzky signed Canucks program cover measures a shade under 11” x 8 1/8” as cut along the left edge of the spine which shows the outline of where the three centerfold staples were located;
The autographed magazine page picture measures 10 3/4" x 8 1/4" as cut along the left side of the shot of Gretzky backed with a cigarette ad.
