Amazing photo-matched Sidney Crosby Penguins 2008 Stanley Cup playoffs game-worn jersey saw action through each of Pittsburgh's three series wins leading up to the final against Detroit. Sid the Kid was the playoffs leader in assists with 21 and he tied for the overall points lead at 27 with the Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg, who claimed the Conn Smythe Trophy as Detroit won a six-game final against Sid's Penguins to claim the Cup. This is the home jersey Crosby wore as the Penguins roared through the first three rounds, sweeping Ottawa in four straight before beating the Rangers and Philadelphia in five games each to reach the finals. A number of specific and detailed matches have been made on various parts of this Crosby 2008 playoff gamer with the "Pittsburgh 250" patch on the right shoulder to four separate photos of him wearing it during the 2008 playoffs. Size 56 flag tag in the back of the neck is sewn over by a line of white-thread stitching through the Canadian flag from the nameplate on the back. Pens equipment manager Dana Heinze has signed in black marker inside the fold of the fight strap, which has a "2007-2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs" team patch sewn across the black anchoring patch inside the jersey. The Penguins' 2007-2008 Stanley Cup Playoff Jerseys Cutting Edge team patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Comes with a Penguins LOA and MeiGray certificate of registration as well as four printed 8x10 photos of the photo matches.
Game wear includes blue marks on the white and gold portions of the left sleeve, a small unrepaired cut hole on the white portion of the left sleeve just below the gold, small marks on the lower right sleeve and a slash mark on the Penguins crest on the front.

(1) May 4th 2008 (last game of conference semi-finals vs. Rangers) small thread in the surname letter “O” on the nameplate and three threads in the “S”, and extra black sewing line on lower right corner of upper square in number “8” sewn on the back;

(3) May 18th 2008 (last game of conference finals vs. Flyers) matched to the long fold line crease in the gold on the right sleeve that shows in a photo of Crosby being presented with the Prince of Wales trophy,
(4) May 18th 2008 (last game of conference finals vs. Flyers) matched on the left sleeve to the bluish mark in the gold portion below the lower horizontal sewing line and the black mark on the white section of the the lower sleeve.
