Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
A marvelous big bold blue ink autograph of Red Dutton on an original crystal-clear 8" by 10" photograph of the Hall of Fame defenceman leads things off nicely here, although punch holes and multiple creases are to note. Some lovely bold pencil cut signatures are possible with nine single-signed pages from an autograph book, all personalized to a "Manfred". Dave Schriner and Hooley Smith are the star signers, with the others listed on our website and a Roy Goldsworthy autograph not personalized. An Earl Robertson personalized affair on an index card could be neatly cropped, while completing is a repro team photo of the 1941-42 Brooklyn Americans, signed by Chuck Rayner, Harry Watson and "Bus" Wycherley. Colored autograph book pages were signed by goalie Robertson, Tommy Anderson, Lorne Carr, Eddie Wiseman, Art Chapman, Red Beattie and Roger Jenkins, with our man Manfred adding “New York Americans” and the date he received the autograph in the corner of each page.
