Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

This spectacular Boston Bruins gamer from the 2010 Winter Classic was worn by Tuukka Rask. After playing five games with Boston over the previous two seasons, the Finnish goalie had an amazing official rookie season in 2009-10 when he went 22-12-5 with five shutouts in 45 games, leading all NHL goalies with a 1.97 goal-against-average and .931 save percentage! Rask backed up Tim Thomas in the Bruins' 2-1 overtime win over Philadelphia on New Year's Day in the NHL's showcase outdoor game. The 2010 Winter Classic patch that evokies Fenway Park's fabled Green Monster is sewn on the right breast of this beauty that Rask wore during the second period featuring a triple felt Bruins crest sewn on the front, and double felt numbers on the back and both sleeves. The MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2009-10 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the Bruins/MeiGray Winter Classic LOA that accompanies the jersey, which has a few faint marks on the hem of the rear tail and comes with an additional LOA.
