Numerous highlights in this terrific Bobby Orr collection, with Bobby's appearance on the cover a 1965 Maclean's magazine a fantastic start. VG+ with no unsightly flaws, it's joined by five signed items, all personalized save for a colour 8" by 10" picture of Orr eluding Chicago's Germain Gagnon. Two are repros of his famous 1970 Cup-winning goal, with an 11" by 14" signed to Alan Eagleson's wife, "Nancy, Thanks for putting up with Al & me - Bob." Two different "Linnett" portraits, one still packaged with two other Bruins, two Linnett Bruins colouring books (EX, no crayon marks!), two Orr Fan Club certificates and various promo pictures are among the rest, along with Hawks photos, with further details below. Three 6” by 9” colour promos for Sher-Brooke hockey sticks include two in nice shape, while a 7” by 9” media-style photo of a young Bobby has a “World Wide Photos” stamp on the reverse. A color Bruins postcard (back damage), a ’69-70 VG team picture, other promo pics and a photo ticket from the Bruins' last season at Boston Garden are among the Bruins goodies, while Black Hawks images include three different black and white 8 by 10s, a similar-size color shot on paper stock and a team-issued color postcard with stats on the back. A dozen other miscellaneous items up the appeal and help make for an awesome array or Orr collectibles.
