Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

The C was worn as proudly as ever on the left breast of Terry O'Reilly's signed 1984-85 Bruins game-worn captain's jersey from his last NHL season. Terry placed a black marker autograph on the right breast of this white heavy mesh gamer that displays his no-holds-barred style with black marks all over the front, which has dried bloodstains on the tail!. Size "52" is handwritten in blue ballpoint on the CCM tagging in the neck that has a "10 84" born date sticker still in place behind it. Proper CCM embroidered patch is sewn on the rear tail and the double cloth fight strap remains intact. There is a 3-inch-long diagonal team repair between the C and the collar with multiple vintage team sewing fixes among the rest of the awesome game wear that includes blood stains on the cuffs, major thread surgery on the gold and black stripes below the numbers on the right sleeve and many more repairs on the bottom of the left sleeve. There are two more team repairs on the left front, five on the back, including a diagonal sewing fix to the bottom right corner of the nameplate, two on the left shoulder, and one on the right shoulder which also has an unrepaired burn hole on the far right at the back shoulder seam.
