Black Hawks great Charlie Gardiner led Chicago to its first Stanley Cup in the spring of 1934, two months before his shocking death from a brain hemorrhage. Gardiner and fellow HOFers Lionel Conacher, Art Coulter and coach Tommy Gorman are pictured in this amazing framed 10x13 team photo of the 1933-34 Black Hawks along with fellow Chicago greats March, Abel, Gottselig and Thompson, among others. An amazing team photo of the Black Hawks' first Stanley Cup championship team. There is a vertical crease that runs through March’s left leg and a tear on the bottom edge of this vintage team picture which is displayed on a light grey matte within a black matte mounted in a 16” x 20” wood frame.
