Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
Attractive photo captures the first Maple Leafs team to win the Stanley Cup. The Leafs did not lose a game in the 1932 playoffs and swept the Rangers in the best-of-five Cup finals. The Kid Line of Jackson, Primeau and Conacher, who had finished 1-2-4 respectively in regular season scoring, potted 8 goals in their first finals appearance. The photo on paper stock was produced by Toronto's Super Art Company and pictures the champs in full-body poses, including Horner, Clancy, Day, Bailey, Livinsky, Chabot and the Leafs hierarchy of Smythe, Selke and coach Dick Irvin. In near-excellent condition with no visible or unsightly creases, the photo itself measures 12" x 10", is presented unframed.
