Legendary goalie Patrick Roy's NHL debut is featured in this lot of four documents from his first Montreal Canadiens game and win against Winnipeg on February 23, 1985. Featured along with a copy of the Habs' scoresheet are carbon copies of three official NHL reports from the game, including the Score Sheet, Penalty Record, and Official Statistics of the Game, which shows that Roy stopped two shots in the third after taking over for Doug Soetaert to record the win as the Canadiens scored twice after he entered the game for a 6-4 victory over the Jets. Chris Nilan scored twice for the Canadiens, including his first of the game on a penalty shot against Roy’s future goaltending partner, the Jets’ Brian Hayward;
