Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

Ken Dryden's legion of fans will love this lot, with an autographed photo always a highlight. Ken's perfect blue ballpoint signature appears on a 7" by 8-1/2" telex action shot from January, 1978 - nice! Three pre-NHL programs date back to a 1966-67 Cornell at Boston College game; two 1970-71 AHL programs with him in the line-up are from Montreal Voyageurs games; one vs. the Clippers in Baltimore (VG) and the other a home game (G) program against the Cleveland Barons (Feb. 12/71). From Ken's outstanding Conn Smythe Trophy performance later that season is a Stanley Cup quarter-finals Game 6 program vs. Boston, (Habs won 8-3 to tie series 3-3). Four photos, (with Bunny Larocque and the Vezina Trophy, after having signed to "return" to the Habs and two action shots), complete the intriguing booty. The 1966-67 Cornell program is VG+ and includes a head shot of Dryden. The Stanley Cup quarter-finals Game 6 program has a two-inch tear in the back cover, along with a back cover edge tear, but is otherwise a nice EX. The lot also includes a mini banner and print from Ken Dryden Night.
