Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

Lots and lots of great game wear to report on these Carey Price's Vaughn goalie gloves from the 2008-09 season. Both the blocker and catching glove display puck marks galore which Price began wearing in the latter stages of the season, not long after he made his NHL All-Star Game debut at home at Montreal's Bell Centre. "Price Game" is embroidered in blue thread on the outside cuff of the Vaughn Epic catching glove. "Price" appears in white thread on the back of the cuff of the right-hand blocker which exhibits lots of red paint transfer on the palm from Price's goalie stick. Distinctive marks on the blocker are a conclusive photo-match but the glove isn't so they may be from two different sets but both used during the 2008-09 season. Comes with a Classic Auctions LOA. Vaughn "Made in London, Ontario" fly tags remain attached in the cuffs of both gloves and both the catching glove and blocker have an external fly tag with U.S. Canadian and European flags stating that the glove conforms to "all new league rules" regarding sizing.
