Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2012

Goaltender Dusan Salficky was selected by the New York Islanders 132nd overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and has spent his entire career so far in the Russian Superleague and the Czech Elite League. Salficky represented his country, the Czech Republic, at the 2000, 2001 and 2002 World Championships as well as in the 2006 Winter Olympics. His circa 2002-03 red CSKA Moscow jersey has everything sublimated on it, including his surname which is on a nameplate, and the Maribel and Wurth sponsor logos which are on a mesh plate as well. Game wear is easy to spot with numerous marks throughout the jersey, good pilling at the left cuff, back of the collar and lower front of the jersey. The back of the jersey also shows soiling / paint transfer from rubbing against the goal bar.
