Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012

This little Hab may have been trying to conjure up some wizardly help, judging by the large scar of a crack running across his face, complete with some reddish-brown stains by the right ear. Or maybe this piece from the Intermediate High Skates series distributed by Tex Coulter throughout Canada in 1962 just saw a tad too much bobbling. No matter how the mark got there, this 5 5/8” doll is otherwise in wonderful condition, with only a pinhead size chip on the left skate toe and three chips around the base of the head. There is a hairline running diagonally across the base from the “R” to just under the base below the right skate. The 2 ¼” base is white with stray red paint from the edges and the sticker doesn’t fully cover the bottom but is intact.
