Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012

The Nova Scotia Voyageurs repeated as AHL and Calder Cup champions in the spring of 1977. Soon-to-be-NHL'er Pierre Mondou led the team with 44 goals and was named the Voyageurs' MVP. This attractive ring made for a great memento to a memorable season. The tableau features the Voyageurs logo set onto a big blue stone. Surrounding it are the words "Nova Scotia Voyageurs - Champions". One shank reads "Calder Cup" with a raised miniature of the trophy, while the other has a braised blank area where a name would be engraved and reads "American Hockey League-1976-77". The simple un-awarded brass ring, possibly a salesman sample, is size 9.5 and in near-excellent condition.
