Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
What should prove to be some relatively inexpensive pre-war fun is offered up here, with three VG “Ice Kings” leading the way condition-wise and including #s 35-Patterson RC, 38-McVeigh RC and 45-Brennan RC. A trio of Montreal Maroons, 19-Kerr RC, 31-Hooley Smith and 39-Brydson RC, are next at G and like the aforementioned, are all bilingual versions. The (15) others have some type of serious flaw(s), (paper loss, writing, heavy creases, soiling), lowering them to the P and P-F grades. A touch of paper loss on the front, along with scuffing, is to note on the Nels Stewart RC, with other Ice Kings being #s 5, 6, 18, 20, 21, 29, 31-Smith, 34, 39, 44, 48, 59-Aurie RC, 64 and 72-Howe RC. Four of the ’33-34 O-Pee-Chee cards are without paper loss, back damage or writing and are in the G neighborhood, including Ebbie Goodfellow’s RC, as well as, 37-Murdoch RC, 48-Mondou RC and 56-Ward. At P are #s 1, 6-Stewart RC, 7, 9-Oliver RC, 17, 29, 37, 39-Ching Johnson RC (2) and 41.
