Team-signed stick used by Team Canada 1976 captain Bobby Clarke during the inaugural edition of the Canada Cup was gifted to former Flyers defenseman Garry Galley. This Clarke gamer is signed by Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull, Guy Lafleur, Phil Esposito and Clarke himself, among others. A total of 21 ballpoint Team Canada autographs appear on this "Clarke B." Sher-Wood gamer, whose shaft has been coated with varnish over the signatures. Solid, crack-free beauty retains Bobby's tape jobs on the knob and blade, which has been signed across the white tape by overtime hero Darryl Sittler. The stick is signed on the front of the shaft in descending order, from top to bottom, by Serge Savard, Denis Potvin, Guy Lafleur, Gilbert Perreault, Phil Esposito, Guy Lapointe, Paul Schmyr, Rogie Vachon, Bobby Orr, Marcel Dionne, Reg Leach, Bobby Clarke, Lanny McDonald, Bill Barber, Pete Mahovlich, Bobby Hull and Larry Robinson;
The other side of the shaft is signed by Steve Shutt, Gerry Cheevers and Glenn “Chico” Resch;
Also included are a 1976 Canada Cup program and a vintage 5x7 action shot of Clarke using this type of stick during Team Canada’s game against Finland.
