Goaltender Jeff Hackett jumped to the big league in 1988-89 where he played in 13 games for the New York Islanders. His rookie jersey shows evidence of a former nameplate so it could be recycled from the previous season. The shirt displays loads of red goal paint transfer on #1's on sleeves and back, and has a small unrepaired cut on the left sleeve with more on the front and again on the team crest. Tagged in the neck by Maska. The letter of authenticity from Brad Moore states the jersey was acquired from the Islanders as part of a large purchase of game used jerseys and equipment.
