Fantastic trio of Wendel Clark jerseys features game-issued Nordiques, Avalanche and Islanders sweaters. Obtained from someone close to Wendel, these beauties were all done up for his use, complete with his familiar No. 17. The Nordiques jersey dates from 1994-95 and the Avalanche jersey is from the team's inaugural season the following year, though Wendel never played in Colorado because of a contract dispute and ended up getting traded to the Islanders for the rest of the 1995-96 season. Please see our website description for more information about this lot. Clark’s 1994-95 Nordiques alternate captain’s game-issued jersey has size 56 and Maska Ultrafil flag tags in the neck. All cresting, including the eight Fleur-de-Lys, numbering and lettering is sewn on tackle twill.
Clark’s burgundy mesh 1995-96 Avalanche game-issued jersey has an NHL Center Ice label in the back of the neck with a size 56-R patch sewn on below it. This very desirable Avalanche inaugural season jersey has the Starter NHL embroidered patch on the right rear hem. There is a small stain in the white piping above it;
The Islanders’ ill-fated Fisheman crest sits on the front of Clark’s alternate captain’s game-issued jersey. This short-lived style has CCM and size 56 flag tags in the neck.
