Forward Jason Ward managed to put some nice wear onto his single-used Montreal Canadiens Game One 2000 game-worn jersey. Ward has signed in black marker on the left breast of this unique #61 Habs gamer, which has a Pro Player label in the back of the neck and a size 56 flag tag. Game use shows in huge black marks on the front below the CH crest, which has a couple of tiny black marks. Stains, possibly sweat, in the white stripe on the front tail and a light board burn on the right side of the front hem are also displayed, along with a board burn on the left shoulder, black marks near the left cuff and a light black mark near the right cuff.
One-of-a-kind collection features the Montreal Canadiens’ set of game-worn jerseys from the 24-time Stanley Cup champions’ first NHL game of the new millennium against the New York Rangers at the Molson Centre on January 2, 2000. Each Canadiens player has signed his respective single-use Pro Player jersey, all of which feature a special team stamp in the hem with the date of the game and the Rangers and Habs team logos. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, each of these unique gamers with the “NHL 2000” patch on the right breast will come with a letter of authenticity.
