Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2011
Two nifty vintage lots uncovered in Canada are offered here and feature some dandy images, although the cards are low grade, having been glued into a notebook with lined paper, with some even glued back to back. Neilson’s Chocolate (Type 2) cards from 1922 total (51) and include Grover Alexander, Waite Hoyt, Max Carey, Ed Roush, Goose Goslin and Zach Wheat, while we spot McGraw, Sisler and Frisch among (21) from the 1923 Willards Chocolates set. Cleveland Indians low grade pictures (22) from the 1940s include Satchell Paige, while (11) 1970 Topps Scratch-Offs and cards of Agganis and Hubbs round things out.
