Great piece of Blue Jays history, this Wilson uniform was made for George Bell, who played 39 games in 1983 before becoming a regular from 1984 until 1990. Company neck tag indicates size 42 and a tag below indicates the issue year, "83" Numbers, letters, and crest are sewn-on. In excellent condition with one faint stain about 5” below the “S” on the front. Also includes three lineup cards. Please see website for details. This auction also includes lineup cards from the following games: June 10, 1983 - New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays - Reggie Jackson hit the 475th run of his career in this game. May 17th, 2009 - Chicago White Sox at Toronto Blue Jays - This was the 139th win of Roy "Doc" Halliday's career. June 18th, 1982 - Oakland A's at Toronto Blue Jays - From Dave revering's only season with the Jays.[red] Addendum : It was brought to our attention that the regular jerseys worn by the Jays players during the 1983 regular season had name attached to the back. This jersey was also originally purchased directly from the Toronto Blue Jays team store.[/red]
