Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2011
Hit the ball out of the park and into the time machine, where you’ll be greeted by the vintage visages of Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, and Lou Gehrig peering at you from pages of the past. Great full page photos adorn the inside front and back covers in this 72 issue set of “Baseball Magazine.” Some of the best are a pair of Lou Gehrig back covers from May 1927, Dazzy Vance in May1932 and Babe Ruth in the June 1935 edition. Some of the back or front covers have separated from the magazine body, pages have yellowed, and there is wear at the spines. Overall they are in good condition.
