Al MacInnis’ rookie-era gamer is a highlight of this lot of five game-used sticks wielded by Calgary Flames greats who put their share of pucks in the back of the net! Lanny McDonald’s stick makes it two HOF gamers in this collection along with examples used by Theo Fleury, Phil Housley and Marc Savard. “Mac Innis” is stamped on the shaft of MacInnis’ Canadien stick which has his number “2” written in red marker below his white tape knob. The blade is in great shape and retains MacInnis’ black tape job, which has worn through in the middle of the bottom edge but is otherwise smooth. There are light cracks to note on the back of the lower part of the shaft, though this rookie-era MacInnis gamer remains a fantastic display piece! McDonald’s dedicated “All the very best” black marker signature sits low on the shaft of his Canadien gamer. “McDonald” is stamped on the shaft and his retired no. “9” is written in black marker below the intact white tape knob. His gorgeous gamer retains his black tape job on the blade, which is nice and smooth on the bottom edge with wear through the tape at the middle. “T. Fleury” is stamped low on the shaft of Fleury’s game-used Titan, which has a partially obscured date stamp. Fleury’s white tape jobs remain on the knob and blade, which he signed, dedicated and dated “’94” in black marker. Housley signed in white paint pen across his black tape job on the blade of his 1980s Victoriaville gamer from earlier in his career in Buffalo. “Savard 27” is screened on the front of the shaft of Savard’s Easton Synergy composite, which retains his tape job on the knob and displays cracks in the middle of its broken blade, which had its tape removed.
