Forward Adam Burish took his first steps toward a Stanley Cup win with the Chicago Black Hawks when he made his NHL debut wearing this #37 jersey in 2006-07. Burish, who signed with Dallas as a free agent after the Hawks’ Cup win in the spring of 2010, appeared in 9 games with Chicago while spending the bulk of his first pro season with AHL Norfolk. Burish signed the “7” on the back of his Black Hawks road gamer. While it obviously saw limited use, it still displays noticeable wear, including a mark to the bottom left of the “3” on the back, blue paint transfer on the back of the upper right sleeve, a black mark just above the magnificent team crest and more light marks on the front. Size 54 Canadian flag fly tag remains in the neck and the fight strap is intact. “Game-Worn, 2006-2007, 1 of 2” Black Hawks season set patch is sewn inside the rear hem. “A” is written in black marker inside the hem within the outline of the NHL crest’s black thread stitching. Accompanying Black Hawks LOA signed by GM Dale Tallon confirms that this game-worn jersey is from the team’s first set of the 2006-07 season.
