Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2011
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2011
This golden knit was worn around 1984 or 1985 by Toronto-born defenseman Doug Halward, who lined up for the Vancouver Canucks for 7 NHL seasons. This one was produced by CCM and includes the proper CCM logo on the tail while the tag in the neck is no longer present. The nameplate across the back shoulders appears to have been placed where another one once sat so the shirt might have been recycled from a previous year or worn by another player. Nice wear throughout with some stick marks and smaller stains to add to a few stitched team repairs. Note that there is evidence of a "JCM Patch" removal on the left shoulder, just above the number 2.
