Veteran forward Murray Craven wore this gorgeous Chicago Black Hawks home jersey during the 1996 playoffs. Craven contributed a goal and four assists in nine playoff games after recording 47 points in 1995-96, his second of three seasons with the Hawks. A team repair on the right front is one of a half dozen sewing fixes, including three on the right sleeve and a pair on the left. More game use is displayed in a tiny bit of red paint transfer near the left cuff and light black marks on the front and back tails and both sleeves. CCM and size 56 fly tags remain in the neck and the fight strap is intact. Written in black marker on the reverse of the NHL shield on the tail are “96” for the 1995-96 season and “3” for the Hawks’ third season set – playoffs - of jerseys. An inventory code applied to the inside of the jersey behind the #32 on the back corresponds to the accompanying LOA.
