Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2011

Forever in demand are the good old rubber-crested game pucks featuring the logos of the “Original Six” teams, with two splendid Black Hawks biscuits up for grabs here. They both date to the 1962-64 time frame when Hull and Mikita were wowing the Chicago Stadium patrons. Both appear to have been used in NHL games too, with the one with the little bit cleaner logos exhibiting a tad more use, notably a nice front edge slice at about 9 o’clock. An inch-long scratch nearby and three small chips in the side are also to note, with the other including just a couple of nicks and tiny slices. Mighty solid pair conjures up images of the mighty solid performances of Hull and Mikita!
