Luc will always have a special place in his heart for the Red Wings after winning his only Stanley Cup as a member of the 2002 champions. Offered here from his personal collection is a Robitaille Red Wings goal puck from 2002-03. Luc notched the Wings' first goal in a 5-4 overtime loss to Edmonton at the Joe Louis Arena on November 25, 2002. Written in black ink on a wide band of white hockey tape placed on the reverse of the Red Wings game puck are the opposing cities, the date of the game, Detroit's first goal (signifying that it was the Red Wings’ first score of that game), and “Scored 20 Robitaille”, with “Time 11 47 1st” along the bottom. Comes with Luc Robitaille’s signed LOA.
