Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Vintage early-Nineties Montreal Canadiens uniform issued to, but apparently not worn by, the finest goaltender in the history of the game, Patrick Roy. The jersey displays a solitary mark on the left sleeve (most likely a stain) but otherwise appears clean and unwashed. The numbers and tagging are stiff and crisp and the jersey reveals no additional wear of any kind. Tagged by Maska Ultrafil in the collar, the size, 54, is correct for the period and the jersey might possibly be from 1991-92 (without the 75th patch). Patrick's surname crosses a very short plate, also correct, and his number 33 appears in two-tone tackle twill on the back and both arms. Will make for a correct and perfect framed display at thouands less than a game-worn example!
