Ivan Hlinka lined up for the HC Litvanov Hockey Club for almost 20 seasons between 1966 and 1987. With the exception of the 1989-90 season when he coached the Freiburg club in Germany, he devoted his post-playing days to the Litvanov team, later taking on the post of general manager. This HC Litvanov uniform dates back to the mid-Seventies when Ivan was at his prime. The jersey is quite similar to those worn by the Czechoslovakian National Team during the period with drop-shadow numbers attached to the arms and back of the thin tie-neck style. The back is crested with "Hlinka" and "Litvanov" above and below the number "14" in two-tone tackle twill and Ivan's captain's "C" is up on the left breast. The jersey shows light but obvious game use and has faded in places from display (a few pin holes to note. From the personal collection of Ivan Hlinka with a letter of provenance from the family.
