Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Among the highest-scoring American hockey players of all time, Keith Tkachuk finally called it a career this spring. Tkachuk enjoyed consecutive 50-goal seasons in the 1990s, first notching 50 in the Winnipeg Jets’ final season in 1995-96 before tallying 52 the following year when the franchise relocated to Arizona and became the Phoenix Coyotes. Keith signed his Louisville TPS wood gamer in black marker below his black tape job on the handle. This Tkachuk gamer retains his black bulldog tape job on the blade and it remains ready for display despite its broken shaft, possibly the result of it being whacked over a goal or the top of the boards judging by the red paint transfer on the bottom edge of the massive crack through the lower part of the stick.
